How come your prices are more expensive than that of the manufacturer's?
Manufacturer prices are EXCLUSIVE of shipping charges, duties and VAT. These extra charges normally add 15%-20% to their listed prices. In this context, our prices are lower than the total cost of purchasing directly from the manufacturers. Additional savings will also be realized should your watch require repair since your purchase from us carries a local warranty. Moreover, we save you headaches inherent in dealing with couriers regarding import duties, etc.
Are your prices final?
Unfortunately yes. Archimede and Steinhart timepieces were meant to be sold directly to end users via the internet. Margins given to accomodated resellers are therefore low since provisions for distributors and dealers were not part of their pricing equation.
What mode of payments do you accept?
For now, we only accept cash.
What’s the lead time for watches not in stock?
We are required a minimum quantity per order. Hence, the lead time will vary depending on our inventory.
Where can we physically inspect these watches?
These watches can be inspected at Architectural Audio, located at the 4th floor of Greenbelt 5, Ayala Mall, Makati City. We can be reached at 0917-8503548 or at eric (at) ichronoclast.com. Please note that Ichronoclast is still in its infancy, so it is suggested that you contact us first before going to Greenbelt 5 to make sure that the watches are available for inspection.
What warranty comes with your watches?
2 years warranty for manufacturing defects.
Will repair be done locally or by the manufacturer?
Ichrononclast has a good watch technician who will diagnose the problem. If the issue is minor, then it will be repaired locally. Otherwise, it will be sent back to the manufacturer.
How often should these mechanical watches be serviced?
Your watch should be serviced every 4-5 years if necessary. The sealing is normally replaced and all of the bearings in the watch are re-oiled.
